Assist the Marketing Team in a 12 month paid placement in supporting the Customer Insight and Research Manager with the planning, co-ordination and reporting of customer research projects.

The Marketing Team operates with a culture of shared learning, problem solving and proactive support for the business. The successful candidate must be prepared to embrace this way of working and be active contributor to the team ethic. This placement would be suitable to those graduating or have recently graduated within a relevant degree in Marketing, Social Sciences or Humanities based subjects or equivalent qualifications, or for students interested in taking part in a 12 month placement as part of their studies.

You will also have a keen interest in this area with strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will also be a "big picture" thinker with the ability to come up with ideas, solutions and opportunities. Similar experience within a Marketing environment may be advantageous but not essential, what we're looking for is someone who is able to put their research skills and knowledge into practice to help us further understand our customers’ needs.

What will you be doing?

Assisting in research-based campaign development.
Analysing qualitative output from various sources including NPS surveys, Customer Satisfaction, Trust Pilot, Google Reviews and any ad – hoc programs.
Writing and presenting research reports on the outputs from internally conducted primary research as well as secondary (desktop) research.
Exploring and reporting on competitor branding and advertising activity.
Conduct desktop/secondary research for the Brand and Products teams.
Building and managing internal surveys to support the Internal Communication and Events team.
Obtaining quotes from various suppliers/agencies to provide research proposals for internal stakeholders.
Managing small scale online research projects from end- to-end with minimal direction.
Searching for the story in large and varied sources of data
