Our IT Service Desk Team is a key function within the IT Department and across the business. They are responsible for all IT services including, desk side support services, incident management, request fulfilment and access management.

As the 1st Line Service Desk Team Leader you will be responsible for leading and managing the first line and IT Operational support team, driving the performance of the Service Desk Analysts to achieve SLAs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a self-starter, self-motivated and self-sufficient customer facing role that is hands-on.

It is essential for the ideal candidate to have experience within an IT support role and have a track record of managing multiple/complex Service Desks.

The Ideal candidate must have excellent IT skills with written and verbal communication skills, excellent organisation and planning skills. You must be motivated, enthusiastic and be able to work well under pressure and to deadlines.

Good attention to detail, having logical analysis and trouble-shooting skills will be essential for this role. You must be able to demonstrate methodical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to use your own initiative.

The ideal candidate will need to be resourceful and flexible to change.
