The role of Key Account Manager is really important to us. You will be providing front line sales support to our Dealer community through exceptional customer service, data driven decisions, risk management and pro-active account management, working collaboratively with the senior management team and other teams throughout MotoNovo to manage, develop and improve the existing client base that we hold in an informed, compliant and efficient manner. This role will be based in our Cardiff office however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week. You’ll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.

What would your day look like?

  • Fully responsible for the timely completion of all risk and oversight audits within the National Accounts Region to ensure that our Dealer partners continue to work within the guidelines given by MotoNovo Finance and the FCA in a compliant manner
  • Fully responsible for the creation of all MI for the region including Review document, statement, site leagues, daily funded reports as well as any other bespoke reporting or MI that is requested by our client base or the National Account Managers and the Senior Leadership team
  • Fully responsible for being the front-line specialist support for all National Account dealers when handling all queries received while maintaining successful, positive and mutually beneficial relationships with our dealers through regular telephone contact, to generate profitable business.
  • Responsible for monitoring and identifying trends in performance of existing Accounts, and implementing plans to improve results or embrace opportunities identified in conjunction with the National Account Managers through monthly meetings and in-depth analysis of these accounts
  • Proactively engage with clients and make best use of performance data to evaluate, recommend and take action to manage risk and reward in conjunction with the National Account Managers and the management team – ensuring that all actions are completed and noted in the KAM/NAM review and QDQ reviews on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Proactively manage the Divisions accepted business by securing commitment with Sales staff and decision makers in a timely manner, by proactively managing the DQR, underperforming accounts and converting all pending business throughout the month where possible.
  • Responsible for promoting relevant products and suggest enhancements where negative trends have been identified at Staff and Decision maker level to improve KPIs
  • Fully understand and review the bespoke rates and terms packages of designated National Accounts in order to resolve commission queries, review/analyse debit backs, identify and rectify system flaws/issues – ensuing that any issues or errors are documented within the term checking process and resolved in conjunction with the Operations teams
  • Record, collate and share market and competitor intelligence obtained with management, National Account Managers and team.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with the management team throughout MotoNovo Finance, including by not limited to Operations Teams, Support Teams, Change Teams and Sales Teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of MNF product suite, campaign pricing, end to end customer journeys, dealer and customer systems, dealer experience and requirements, motor finance market, competitor activity and relevant regulation.
  • Attend industry events to enrich own knowledge and to identify opportunities to enhance the existing MNF product suite, sharing information obtained with the wider business and the management team in a timely manner
  • To ensure team compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, including, but not exhaustively, Data Protection, Money Laundering, Health and Safety, FSA, Employment and other legislative requirements (as applicable).
  • Continue to develop self and role by studying relevant training materials and product information, and continually develop and improve product knowledge
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks or projects as requested by the management team
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Work as part of a team – supporting, motivating and assisting colleagues in the operation of the department and throughout the business
